As always a very pleasurable experience to do business with you folks and if/when we again visit we will be renting from you again. If only all businesses were run as courteously! Thanks Julia and all the best.
Just wanted to drop a note and say thanks for taking care of our rental needs again this year. We enjoyed the bicycles, riding down the beach and taking cool dips along the way, relaxing and fun way to get some exercise. Also enjoyed the new beach bikes this year!
Just wanted to say thanks again for the personalized service we enjoyed working with you and staff in renting both bicycles and a kayak and will see you again when we come visit.
I just wanted to say thank you for helping us have a fun vacation. Your friendly service made us feel more like neighbors than tourists. We will certainly come back to Island Marine Rentals if our travels take us back to the area.
Great place! Wonderful service! The best equipment, service, people! Try them! Easy. to follow directions, well maintained and spotless boats. Lots of ideas of things to do. I will be going back as soon as I can. A must if you are visiting the area.
Great day on the water! I had a great experience with Island Marine Rentals. They provided excellent advice on using the boat. They are also in a great location for seeing a number of different things, from the intercoastal to the ocean. I can’t wait to go back.
Hey thanks. We just rented a center console, 19-footer and had a thoroughly delightful time. Service was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Instructions were very helpful. Price was very reasonable. Boat was clean, responsive and dependable. The depth finder was a wonderful asset since the intercoastal can get shallow quickly. We reserved the 2 hour special but decided on the 4 hour and we couldn’t be happier. Did I say the service was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable? It was and they are!
Our group rented 3 scooters and we had a great time! Island Marine staff was very friendly and helpful. We rode to the fort and back up to the end of Clearwater beach. The staff gave us points of interest to take a look at. It was great fun. Returning the scooters was easy with no hassle. We would definitely rent here again!!!
Hi, Paul and I had a great time last Friday. Thanks very much – lots and lots of fun!!! Sadly,it’s “back to work” now. Ugh. I was going to call you back with our Living Social voucher number the other day and simply forgot.. Again, thanks for the fun. I can’t believe we hadn’t tried it before. Maybe we’ll see you again within the next couple of months.
Julia, I apologize for not stopping in to thank you for the very nice day and a half we had on the 18′ Hurricane (#1) we rented. We got busy and before we knew it we had to vacate the condo and head for the airport.
My son and daughter-in-law had an absolute blast on the boat. They enjoyed every second we were on the water. The trip up north on the intercoastal to marker 35, then out into the gulf, and south down to John’s Pass was a very nice day trip. They had fun spotting bottle nose dolphins.
The half day trip we took south on the intercoastal, through the pass (Name?) at Shell Key Shoal, out into the gulf, and back up to John’s Pass was an excellent 4 hour journey. We spotted sea turtles on this journey in the intercoastal just north of the Corey Ave Bridge. Huge sea turtles. Things we do not get to see on Lake Erie. Speaking of Lake Erie… My son made the statement that the intercoastal and gulf were much calmer than Lake Erie. He could not believe it and was expecting 1 to 2 foot waves on the gulf. He said it was like being on the Sea of Abaco (he has experience piloting a boat and diving off Treasure Cay, Green Turtle Cay, and Munjack Cay). I don’t think he will be as reserved next time he comes down about getting back behind the helm. Then you will have a Captain Jason added to your list of customers. We returned to Ohio where it was very hot and humid for a couple days. More so than the Indian Shores area. Gulf breeze helps! Finally catching a break as the humidity and temperature have dropped to a bearable level and we have a breeze helping cool things a bit. No rain since 06/29 and still have some (~60,000) residents without electricity after the June 29th storm. Power to be restored to them by this Thursday… or so they say. Take care, God Bless, and tell the guys I said “Hi and Thanks for contributing to a wonderful day and a half on the water.”. You all did a great job!
